A symbol of courage, skill, loyalty

Hakim started his circus career in 1938, when he was only 14 years old. He became a jigit-rider in the ensemble "Dzhigits of Uzbekistan", which was headed by his father. It was not just the start of a career, but the beginning of a great journey full of adventures and achievements. Hakim quickly won the love of the audience with his skill and charisma. He not only performed the most complex tricks on a horse, but also was able to convey emotions, forcing the audience to hold their breath.
From 1952 to 2006, Hakim headed the ensemble "Dzhigits of Uzbekistan". Under his leadership, the team became known not only in the USSR, but also abroad. The tour took place in countries such as Bulgaria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, GDR, Romania, Mongolia, Hungary and Finland. Every appearance on the stage was a real holiday, and Hakim easily turned every number into an unforgettable spectacle.
Hakim not only performed, but also actively worked behind the scenes. He graduated from the Tashkent Music School named after R Gliera and the conducting faculty of the Tashkent Conservatory. This education helped him become the artistic director of circus groups and programs, as well as the director of various circuses. He was a co-author of projects for new circus facilities, which testifies to his desire to develop the art of the circus.
Equally important was his desire to pass on knowledge to the younger generation. Hakim brought up many circus artists who continued his work. He recreated a new group "Jigits of Uzbekistan" and trained horses, which also became an important part of his life. Hakim always believed that the ability to work with animals is not only a talent, but also a deep connection that requires patience and respect. He often said that a horse is not just an animal, but a partner with whom you need to find a common language. This philosophy helped him create unique numbers that amazed the audience with their beauty and grace.
Hakim Zaripov became a real circus legend. His talent and devotion to art made him an outstanding figure not only in the Uzbek circus, but all over the world. He received the title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1980, which was a recognition of his merits and contribution to circus art. Hakim always remained modest and purposeful, despite his achievements. He never forgot about his roots and how important it is to share his experience with those who are just starting their journey.
Since October 22, 2021, after the death of Vera Kuzmina, Hakim became the oldest living People's Artist of the USSR. This status reminded of his long career and how much he did for circus art. Hakim continued to work and inspire the young generation of artists until the very end of his life.
Unfortunately, on January 18, 2023, the circus world lost Hakim Zaripov. He passed away at the age of 99, leaving behind a rich legacy. His name will live in the hearts of those who had the honor to see his performances, as well as in the hearts of those who continue his work. Hakim was not just an artist - he became a symbol of courage, skill and love for circus art.
His life and career inspire many, and the memory of him will live forever. Hakim Zaripov is not just a name, it's a story about how love for business can change life and leave a mark in people's hearts.
